Dr Catherine Fairris BSc (Hons), MB ChB, MRCP (UK), MSc Aesthetics
Dr Catherine Fairris qualified as a doctor from the University of Bristol in 2008 having previously gained her BSc in Pharmacology. She completed her core medical training in the NHS and was a Rheumatology Registrar before shifting her focus to a specialism in Aesthetic medicine.
She is a member of the Royal college of Physicians as well as a board member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine. In 2018 she completed her Masters degree in Aesthetic medicine from Queen Mary’s University of London – graduating with distinction. Her dissertation was titled “An evidence-based comprehensive guide to volumization of the mid-face with dermal fillers, including a proposed algorithm for managing complications” which was later published in Aesthetics Journal.
Dr Fairris has extensive experience in the use of injectable products. Dr Catherine Fairris is the current President of the British College of Aesthetic medicine, an organisation for Doctors and Dentists practicing Aesthetic medicine, www.bcam.ac.uk. Before this, she was trustee responsible for education and events.
Dr Fairris believes that the practice of aesthetics is a branch of medicine in its own right. She strives to provide patient focused care, putting the medical needs of the patient at the centre of all her treatment plans.
Dr Fairris has published academic papers in relation to complications management in Aesthetics. This is a particular area of interest for her, which she continues to pursue academically.

The Wessex Skin clinic combines state-of-the-art clinical facilities with comfortable and discrete surroundings. There is also on-site complimentary parking for patients.
